When it rains, it pours...
The horror/genre film community has been slammed with the deaths of filmmakers and actors in recent months and sadly, we have another to report. It's being reported across social media this morning that actor Robert Kerman has passed away at the age of 71.
Kerman is prominently known for playing Professor Harold Monroe in Ruggero Deodato’s gut-munching classic, Cannibal Holocaust. He was no stranger to the Italian cannibal film, also appearing in Umberto Lenzi's Eaten Alive! and Cannibal Ferox.
The actor's IMDb bio details, “Kerman’s porn career flourished during the middle and late 1970s and early 1980s. He appeared in over 100 adult porn feature films in lead and supporting parts. Kerman resumed his work in the American porn industry until 1984, when he moved with his girlfriend to Los Angeles to break into mainstream acting.”
He also held very small roles in The Clairvoyant, Death Mask, Night of the Creeps and Sam Raimi's Spider Man.
Our thoughts go out to Kerman's family and friends.
