[E3 2019] 'Alien Isolation' Arrives On Nintendo Switch This Year

Another exciting port announcement from the Nintendo Direct event at E3 2019, as it's been revealed that Alien: Isolation will be hitting the Switch this year!

The first-person horror title from Sega and Creative Assembly was originally released in 2014 and is highly regarded as the best Alien of all time, even though there's not much competition in that area.

The game follows the daughter of Ellen Ripley, Amanda, who finds herself stuck aboard a space station where a menacing Xenomorph is stalking the corridors.

The game appears briefly in a showreel of upcoming titles for the Nintendo Switch, seen below.

No release date has been revealed yet, but it will arrive later this year.

Update: We've learned some more details on the Switch port, which is due for release from publisher Feral Interactive. It's been confirmed that the Switch edition will feature "gyroscopic aiming and HD rumble to immerse players in its terrifying world wherever they play". We've also gotten our hands on a new trailer, but it's rather light on gameplay.
