He was recently cast in the title role of Blumhouse and Leigh Whannell's The Invisible Man remake and The Wrap now reports that "The Haunting of Hill House" star Oliver Jackson-Cohen will also be starring in Mike Flanagan and Netflix's upcoming second season of the anthology series, "The Haunting of Bly Manor". We learned that "Hill House" actress Victoria Pedretti is also returning for the new season.
Jackson-Cohen, who played Luke Crain on "Hill House", will play a new character named Peter, described simply as "a charming fellow." Pedretti will play the governess, Dani, "who takes care of two very unusual children."
"The Haunting of Bly Manor" is inspired by Henry James’ psychological gothic horror novella The Turn of the Screw, which takes place almost entirely in an old country mansion. There, two young orphans are looked after by a young governess by whom most of the story is narrated.
"The Haunting of Bly Manor" is set to launch on Netflix in 2020.
