Villains Clip Bill Skarsgård Maika Monroe

Following its acquisition by Gunpowder & Sky our of this year's SXSW, Dan Berk and Robert Olsen's dark comedy thriller Villains arrived in theaters nationwide today, and we now have a brand new clip from the film to share with you.

The film, which Ekko reviewed out of Cinepocalypse and called "exquisitely bizarre," stars Bill Skarsgård (IT: Chapter Two, "Castle Rock") and Maika Monroe (The Guest, It Follows), as well as Jeffrey Donovan and Kyra Sedgwick.

In Villains, Mickey (Skarsgård) and Jules (Monroe) are lovers on the run, headed southbound for a fresh start in the Sunshine State. When their car dies after a gas station robbery, they break into a nearby house looking for a new set of wheels. What they find instead is a dark secret and a sweet-as-pie pair of homeowners who will do anything to keep it from getting out.

In this new clip, Mickey and Jules attempt to strike a deal with the aforementioned homeowners (Donovan and Sedgwick) while holding them hostage at gunpoint.
