Hammer Films Legend Veronica Carlson Joins Horror Short 'Night Of The Devil'

Hammer Films legend, Veronica Carlson (Dracula Has Risen from the Grave, Frankenstein Must Be Destroyed, The Horror of Frankenstein) has signed on to play the character of Dr. Whittingham in Anthony Calvitti's new horror short Night of the Devil, which is currently funding on Indiegogo.

Carlson is joined by an outstanding cast that already includes Lauren LaVera (Terrifier 2, Clinton Road), Rachel Keefe (Vessel, The Invoking 2), George Williams ("Dahmer on Dahmer: A Serial Killer Speaks", "How to Get Away with Murder"), and Richard Lyntton (Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan, Creed).

Night of the Devil tells the story of four teens who enter the woods on Devil's Night 1978, the night before Halloween and come face to face with the Devil. The film brings psychological fear and the slasher genre and blends them into a truly haunting story with a devil of a twist ending.

Other incredible attachments to this short film which includes Illustrator Graham Humphreys (Drawing Blood: 30 Years Of Horror Art), and a soundtrack that features authentic sounds of 1970's hard rock with music by Cactus and Black Sabbath.

Production of the film is slated to begin in November 2019.
