Two Metalheads Aerobicise For Satan In Darkly Humorous Short 'Satanic Panic '87'

Aerobics can be hell!

Today, I'm very excited to share with you one of the best damn short films I've seen this year, Bryan M. Ferguson's Satanic Panic ’87. You can watch it in its entirety below!

In the short, it’s 1987 and two metalheads have opened a gateway to hell when following the instructions of a satanic aerobics tape.

Satanic Panic '87 blends quite a few of my favorite things in life: the '80s, metal music, horror movies, and dark humor. But not aerobics. Fuck aerobics. The short is insanely well made and perfectly captures that retro horror vibe. Think of it like what would happen if Evil Dead had a demonic baby with Deathgasm.

The entire behind the scenes crew deserves a round of applause, from cinematography to special effects, everything looks phenomenal! Needless to say, I look forward to more from the team behind this project!

Written, directed, and edited by Ferguson, Satanic Panic ’87 stars Arran Totten, Yuki Sutton, Amy Clydesdale, and Yoshie Campbell.

The short was commissioned by Channel 4’s Random Acts and programmed by Film4 for their FilmFear season 2019.
