Caroline Williams-Starring Vampire Horror 'Ten Minutes to Midnight' Gets Theatrical Release Dates

Following its World Premiere at the Popcorn Frights Drive-In Horrorshow, 1091 Pictures has acquired the vampire horror Ten Minutes to Midnight, which stars genre favorite Caroline Williams (The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2), for theatrical and VOD release.

Ten Minutes to Midnight will begin its theatrical/drive-in rollout on September 17th with a Virtual Cinema release slated for October 15th, followed by a traditional VOD/Digital release on January 19th, 2021.

The film features Williams in her first-ever return to the DJ booth since her star-making turn as Stretch in Tobe Hooper's 1986 sequel.

"A character-driven night terror, Ten Minutes to Midnight begins when veteran punk rock disc jockey Amy Marlowe (Williams) is bitten by a rabid bat on the eve of her final graveyard shift broadcast. When a raging storm traps Amy, her mysterious replacement [Kang] and the uneasy staff inside their small-town radio station, reality begins to fracture as they move further and further into the graveyard shift."

Erik Bloomquist (Long Lost) directed the film from a script he wrote with Carson Bloomquist.

Nicole Kang ("Batwoman"), Alice Kremelberg ("Orange Is the New Black"), Adam Weppler and the late Nicholas Tucci (You're Next) also star.
