Announced last year, Brannon Braga (“Star Trek: The Next Generation", "The Orville") has directed a new adaptation of Clive Barker's Books of Blood, based on Barker's six volumes of original stories that were published in the '80s, and Deadline lets us know today that the feature film anthology will be arriving on Hulu in October as a part of the streaming service's "Huluween" celebration!

"Written by Braga and Adam Simon ("Salem", The Haunting in Connecticut) based on a short story by Barker with contributing original material, Books of Blood takes a journey into uncharted and forbidden territory through three tales tangled in space and time."

Braga makes his feature directing debut with Books of Blood, which he also co-wrote and executive produced. Seth MacFarlane will also executive produce.

Books of Blood, not to be confused with the 2009 adaptation of the same name, was originally planned to be developed as a series before taking form as a feature anthology.
