Earlier this month, we learned that production had begun on Kevin Lewis' Wally's Wonderland, which will feature Nicolas Cage facing off against possessed animatronics in an amusement park, and today we have our first official look at the film.
Straight out of EFM in Berlin, Screen Daily has shared the first image of Nicolas Cage, as he enters the haunted attraction.
Cage will be joined in the film by "Party of Five" star Emily Tosta, Beth Grant (No Country For Old Men), Ric Reitz (The Resident) and Chris Warner (Machete).
"Tosta’s character Liv, the film's rebellious teenage lead, joins Cage’s character The Janitor in their bid to survive a hellish night trapped inside an abandoned family entertainment center populated by possessed animatronics."
The screenplay, which was high on the Blood List, is written by G.O. Parsons.
"For me there was always one actor and one actor only who could make this movie work and that actor is Nic Cage," Lewis previously told Deadline. "I’m thrilled to be working with him and can’t wait to see him go up against Wally and his gang of psychopathic misfits."
"I see this movie as Pale Rider vs. Killer Klowns from Outer Space."
Filming took place in Atlanta, GA.
