IFC Midnight Brings Drive-In Box Office Hit 'The Wretched' Home This August

The Wretched Blu-ray DVD IFC Midnight

Following its insanely successful drive-in run, IFC Midnight is bringing the witchy creature feature, The Wretched, home this summer!

The Wretched comes to Blu-ray and DVD on August 11th, 2020.

Bonus features on the disc will include commentary tracks with The Pierce Brothers and composer Devin Burrows.

In their review, Lucas praised "The Wretched is a damn fun time. Between its character development, the practical effects, and the coming-of-age tale at its center, it accomplishes much in its roughly ninety minutes."

In The Wretched, "Following his parents separation, a rebellious teenage boy, Ben, is sent to live with his father for the summer and work at the local marina in order to gain some form of discipline. The idyllic tourist town offers little solace for him, however, as he is forced to deal with the local, privileged teens and his fathers new girlfriend. Bens problems grow increasingly disturbing when he makes a chilling discovery about the family renting the house next door. A malevolent spirit from the woods has taken a hold of the parents and starts playing a sinister game of house, preying upon the children and wiping away any trace of their existence. Bens suspicions of the supernatural horrors go unheeded and he launches a perilous crusade in order to put an end to the skin-walking witches reign of terror."

Written and directed by Brett Pierce and Drew T. Pierce, The Wretched stars John-Paul Howard (Hell or High Water), Piper Curda (I Didn’t Do It), Azie Tesfai ("Supergirl"), and Kevin Bigley (Netflix’s Upload).
