Mondo recently kicked off their line of Universal Monsters licensed merchandise with brand new posters, puzzles, tiki mugs and more. Now, the company has revealed an incredible Creature from the Black Lagoon figure, which is now up for pre-order.
Available in two different variants, "Classic Creature" and an exclusive black & white "Silver Screen Variant," the figure is allegedly the first-ever 1/6 scale figure based on the classic monster.
The company explains, "Meticulously crafted and two years in the making, this swamp-rompin' figure has 16 points of articulation, stands at 12" tall, comes with switch-out swim hands and feet, as well as two switch-out heads. Also comes with a fossil hand accessory."
The figures, made of ABS/PVC, were designed designed by Joe Allard, sculpted by Matt Black, and feature insanely detailed paint jobs by Anthony Mestas (classic Creature) and Mike Pflaumer & Hector Arce ("Silver Screen Variant").
Expected to ship in February 2021, the classic version is selling for $175, with the black & white version priced a little higher at $185.
