Madmind Studio, the developers behind the controversial Agony and its newly released spinoff Succubus, have this week announced that they are working on a brand-new horror game called Tormentor, and this time it’s a torment-themed horror title for PC, PS5, and the Xbox Series X consoles.
The game already has a Steam page and can be wishlisted today. A release date has yet to be announced.
Tormentor allows players to perform a torturer’s role. By managing a prison that has been vacant for years, the main character fights against a growing mental illness. To get more doses of the experimental drug, players will have to show creativity in torturing their victims to gather as many spectators as possible during live-streams on the dark web.
The game will also allow players to us funds raised from their livestreams to create the perfect victims for their prisons (which can be upgraded and expanded) using an extensive character editor. Players will not only be able to create the perfect victim. They will also build their character card, choose the tone of voice and behavioral patterns.
