Back in 2017, Kino Lorber Studio Classics brought George Pavlou's Rawhead Rex to Blu-ray for the very first time in the US, and they've now revealed a limited edition Steelbook Blu-ray release for the film, which is headed our way this Halloween season!
Coming October 13th, 2020, the Steelbook is limited to 4000 units and will be available exclusively on Amazon and Kino Lorber's site.
It appears the release will include the same 4K restoration and special features as the aforementioned Blu-ray.

"Ireland will never be the same after Rawhead Rex, a particularly nasty demon, is released from his underground prison by an unwitting farmer. The film follows Rex's cross country rampage, while a man struggles to stop it."
"Howard Hallenbeck (David Dukes), an American historian on a working vacation with his family, discovers on the stained glass windows of a local church a series of scenes illustrating the reign of terror of Rawhead Rex, but the one piece of glass depicting the defeat of the monster is missing. Rawhead Rex is on the loose, and he is insatiable as Howard is desperately races against time for a way to stop the vicious monster."
Based on Clive Barker's Books of Blood, Pavlou (Transmutations) directed Rawhead Rex from a screenplay by Barker (Hellraiser, Candyman, Nightbreed, Lord of Illusions).
