Danny Boyle's 'Frankenstein' Stage Play Heads To Theaters For Halloween

October 1, 2018

Directed by Academy Award-winner Danny Boyle (28 Days Later), this thrilling production features both Jonny Lee Miller and Benedict Cumberbatch as Victor Frankenstein and his Creature.

October 22nd will feature Cumberbatch as the Creature and October 29th will feature Miller as the Creature – a chance for audiences to see both versions.

The original production was a sell-out hit at the National Theatre in 2011 and has since become an international sensation. The play is returning for Halloween this year, this time on the big screen.

"Childlike in his innocence but grotesque in form, Frankenstein’s bewildered Creature is cast out into a hostile universe by his horror-struck maker. Urgent concerns of scientific responsibility, parental neglect, cognitive development and the nature of good and evil are embedded within this thrilling and deeply disturbing classic gothic tale."
