SYFY In Talks To Create New 'Critters' And 'Killer Clowns From Outer Space' Films

October 24, 2018

We're excited to bring you the news that SYFY is looking to breathe new life into two beloved '80s classics!

Bloody Disgusting exclusively reported that SYFY "is in talks to license the rights" to create new features based on Killer Klowns from Outer Space (1988) and Critters (1986)!

With no deal currently finalized, it is not yet known if SYFY plans on creating sequels or remakes with the franchises. I'm certain that fans would absolutely love to see a Killer Klowns sequel and a new Critters film *could* be a lot of fun if handled properly!

In other reboot news, BD also reports that the network is moving forward with Leprechaun Returns, a new entry in the franchise that's set to premiere in March of 2019.

We'll be sure to keep you updated as more details become known! In the meantime, let us know what you would like to see done with the franchises! Reboots? Remakes?
