Netflix's January Additions Include 'The Addams Family' And 'Pan's Labyrinth'

Netflix has a rather solid list of horror and genre new additions to ring in the new year. January 2019's arrivals are highlighted by the U.S. premieres of Godzilla: Planet Eater, the third and final installment in the animated trilogy that began with Godzilla: Planet of the Monsters and was followed by Godzilla: City on the Edge of Battle, and Kingdom, a Korean series that puts a unique spin on zombies.

 

There's also an abundant amount of classic films being added, including Pan's Labyrinth, The Strangers, and The Addams Family. Check out the full list below!

 

Arriving January 1st:

  • Godzilla

  • Pan’s Labyrinth

  • The Addams Family

  • The Mummy (1999)

  • The Mummy Returns (2001)

  • The Strangers

     

Arriving January 9th:

  • Godzilla: The Planet Eater

     

Arriving January 18th:

  • IO – Netflix Film

One of the last survivors on Earth, a teen races to cure her poisoned planet before the final shuttle to a distant space colony leaves her stranded.

 

Arriving January 24th:

  • Conversations with a Killer: The Ted Bundy Tapes – Netflix Original

Get a unique look inside the mind of an infamous serial killer with this cinematic self-portrait crafted from statements made by Ted Bundy.

  • Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation

     

Arriving January 25th:

  • Animas – Netflix Film

When her best friend starts acting odd after a strange accident, a young woman descends into a living hell where nightmare and reality are blurred.

  • Kingdom – Netflix Series

In a kingdom defeated by corruption and famine, a mysterious rumour of the king’s death spreads as does a strange plague that renders the infected immune to death and hungry for flesh. The crown prince, fallen victim to a conspiracy, sets out on a journey to unveil the evil behind it all and save his people.
