'Commando Ninja' Is An Over-The-Top Tribute To '80s Action Heroes Movies

December 28, 2018

If you're a fan of the "new retro" film movement, consisting of films such as Turbo Kid, The Barn and Kung Fury, then you most certainly don't want to miss Commando Ninja!

Commando Ninja is an '80s action comedy, tribute to the Action Hero Movies, written and directed by Benjamin Combes.

"The story follows a Vietnam Green Beret Vet, Half Commando, Half Ninja, whose daughter has been abducted by a secret Ninja Organization, led by a Central-American dictator, who wants to create a new-world order... through time..."

The film had an insanely successful Kickstarter campaign back in March, with Combes originally seeking the funds to create a 45-minute short film. Given the amount of funds raised, the film has been extended to over an hour and has been made available to watch for FREE online!
