'Monster Hunter' Video Game Adaptation Sets 2020 Release Date

Milla Jovovich and Paul W.S. Anderson (Resident Evil, Event Horizon) are reuniting on the big screen once again for an upcoming film adaptation of Monster Hunter, Capcom's popular video game franchise. We've learned today that Sony’s Screen Gems have set the film for a September 4th, 2020 theatrical release.

 

In the film, “Behind our world, there is another: a world of dangerous and powerful monsters that rule their domain with deadly ferocity. When Lt. Artemis (Milla Jovovich) and her loyal soldiers are transported from our world to the new world, the unflappable lieutenant receives the shock of her life. In her desperate battle for survival against enormous enemies with incredible powers and unstoppable, revolting attacks, Artemis will team up with a mysterious man who has found a way to fight back.”

 

Jovovich stars alongside Tony Jaa, Tip ‘T.I.’ Harris, Meagan Good, Diego Boneta, Josh Helman and Ron Perlman.
