The first trailer for the Tim Miller-directed Terminator: Dark Fate has arrived and it seems to be a very welcomed return to form, with the return of Sarah Connor, played by none other than Linda Hamilton, and Arnold Schwarzenegger reprising his role as the Terminator.
The trailer is set to a solemn rendition of Bjork’s “Hunter”, the film features Mackenzie Davis and Hamilton fighting off a new type of machine played by Gabriel Luna, and promises the sequel will once again be a "chase film".
Davis plays some sort of robo-human hybrid who's been sent to protect Natalia Reyes‘ character from Luna‘s new Terminator, one that looks like a mix between Robert Patrick’s Terminator and that of Kristanna Loken in Rise of the Machines, totally badass!
Following the events of T2: Judgement Day, Hamilton returns as a supreme ass kicker, who appears to have been turned into some sort of human killing machine due to the trauma she's suffered in past events. The sequel is produced and supported by franchise creator James Cameron.
Paramount Pictures releases a Dark Fate on November 1st, 2019.
