Yet another Friday the 13th fan film is headed our way while the official franchise continues to waste valuable time in an ongoing legal battle, this one titled Here Comes the Night.
Written and directed by Tim McCormack and produced by Eternity Productions, Here Comes the Night has released its first official trailer, which features a nostalgic '80s vibe, a unique aspect that sets itself apart from other more recent fan films.
The official press release details, "Here Comes the Night is a fan film set in the original universe of the Friday the 13th movies, and a love letter to the franchise. The film was produced for just under $2,000, and shot over the course of 2 weekends. This was possible because of the cast and crew, who donated their time and resources to make the project come alive."
The fan film stars Sarah K Wolf, Jason Kays, Michael Mills, and Tim Haag.
Here Comes the Night will be released on YouTube on September 13th, 2019.
