The Deadliest Film Ever Made 'Antrum' Is Getting A Limited Edition VHS Release

November 16, 2019

What better way is there to watch a cursed film than on VHS?

The folks at Broke Horror Fan get what I mean, as they're bringing David Amito and Michael Laicini's Antrum, which has been dubbed "the deadliest film ever made," to the undying format later this month.

"This mysterious title showed up one day and we couldn't resist adding it to the lineup," said Broke Horror Fan. "There is a waiver included, and we suggest you sign before viewing... just in case."

You can grab your copies in the Witter Entertainment shop next Friday, November 22nd at 12pm EST! The newly commissioned artwork comes from Vasilis Zikos, who lent his talents to BHF's Terrifier and Victor Crowley VHS releases. The VHS is limited to 50 copies and housed in a black clamshell case.

Rumored to have been lost, Antrum appears as a cursed film from the 1970s. Viewers are warned to proceed with caution. It's said to be a story about a young boy and girl who enter the forest to save the soul of their recently deceased pet. They journey to The Antrum, the very spot the devil landed when he was cast out of Heaven. There, the children begin to dig a hole to Hell.

Chase recently reviewed the film, stating that "it's beautifully shot, and the visual aesthetic lends itself to the lore of the film and the sense of impending doom."

Antrum is now available on VOD platforms.
